They have a wide variety of channels, and even have a special section for all sporting events for the day. However, they do not seem to include "local" channels like FOX, ABC, CBS, and NBC. I do not care which state they are from. I just want to be able to watch a handful of weekly TV shows.

I have the ad-free, with Showtime version of Paramount+, but it just says "streaming weekdays," which I take to mean you can only watch it live. Maybe you could find a cheap secondhand HDHomerun tuner and use Jellyfin DVR.
