The Edmonton Public School Board closed the school due to low enrolment in the 1980s and leased it to the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. [11] Since 2004, the school building has been occupied by Vanguard College, a Pentecostal post secondary school. [12] The school yards, playgrounds, and community centre still remain as public space.
