The Warren Township District No. 4 School, also known as the Bunert School, was constructed in 1875 on land purchased by the school district from August and Mine Bunert. The structure was used as a school until 1944, and is currently a historical museum operated by the Warren Historical Society.

The Doughty House was built in about 1865 and purchased by Wilkinson Doughty, an early civic leader in Mt. Pleasant, in 1869.
