Leroy Anderson (/ l ə ˈ r ɔɪ / lə-ROY) (June 29, 1908 – May 18, 1975) was an American composer of short, light concert pieces, many of which were introduced by the Boston Pops Orchestra under the direction of Arthur Fiedler.
Not included are films where an overture is used to present the credits, or underscored scenes that are already part of the plot. [3] As a child she had her first music lessons from her mother Dulcie, an aspiring concert pianist and pupil of Tobias Matthay, who gave up her wider ambitions to become a music teacher after her marriage in 1921.
