Tai Wo Hau (Chinese: 大窩口; Cantonese Yale: Daaih wō háu) is an MTR station between Tsuen Wan and Kwai Hing stations on the Tsuen Wan line.It serves the areas of Kwai Yin Court and Tai Wo Hau Estate in the Kwai Tsing District, and some resited villages (such as Kwan Mun Hau Tsuen) in the Tsuen Wan District of Hong Kong.
Tai Wo Hau is a place in Tsuen Wan across Tsuen Wan District and Kwai Tsing District. Its area mainly includes Tai Wo Hau Estate, Kwai Yin Court, Kwai Yung Court, and private buildings along Texaco Road. [1] [2] It also includes Kwok Shui Road (the villages, MTR Tai Wo Hau station, Primrose Hill) at the north of Castle Peak Road. [3] [4]
Texaco Road provides exits to Tsuen Wing Street and Tsuen Fu Street before intersecting with Tai Wo Hau Road. A segment of Texaco Road, oriented northeast-southwest, includes an overpass that crosses the ground level route. The overpass and ground-level section merge, crossing Castle Peak Road and continuing onto Texaco Road North.

The line is elevated between Lai King and Kwai Hing. Between Kwai Fong and Kwai Hing, the tracks are covered to minimise disturbance to residents nearby. After Kwai Hing, the line re-enters the tunnel to Tai Wo Hau before ending at Tsuen Wan. Some of the underground stations on the line are significantly deeper than the others.

The preceding station is Tai Wo Hau. It was the westernmost station in the MTR system until the opening of the Airport in 1998. It was also the northernmost station in the MTR system until the MTR–KCR merger.
