On 12 December 2023, it was announced that the musical is being developed by Sonia Friedman Productions, StudioCanal and Eliza Lumley Productions on behalf of Universal Music UK. [1] [2] The musical will be directed by Luke Sheppard and is planned to open in the UK in 2025 following workshops in 2023 and 2024.
