Pena is a former parish in the municipality of Lisbon, Portugal. At the administrative reorganization of Lisbon on 8 December 2012 it became part of the parish Arroios . [ 2 ] In 2001, the population of the district included 6038 residents, in an area of 0.5 km 2 , representing a highly compact population.
The palace was constructed in 1727 by Pedro Costa Lima. [1]In the 19th century, the palace was expanded, towards the west. [1]On 15 December 1945, the museum was inaugurated to house regional artefacts and to re-create and display traditional environments, through the initiaties of ethnographer Dr. Pedro Vitorino.
