Macomb's Purchase is a large historical area of northern New York in the United States purchased from the state in 1791 by Alexander Macomb, a merchant who had become wealthy during the American Revolutionary War. He acted as a land speculator, selling off portions of this land.

The North Grove School is a historic one-room schoolhouse located at 26745 Brickville Road northwest of Sycamore, Illinois.Swedish immigrants built the school in 1878; while it was originally a Lutheran school, it became part of the DeKalb County public school system two years later.
