Carmel High School boasts 2 freshman band (Blue and Gold) and 4 Wind Symphonies, which are known for their quality at the state and national level. Nearly 600 students participate in our concert bands each year.
The Carmel High School Marching Greyhounds are 6-time Bands of America Grand National Champions and 26-time Grand National Finalist. The marching band is a 6-time BOA Super Regional Champion and 19-time BOA Regional Champion.
At Carmel High School, Jazz Band is a co-curricular class held every day before school, December – May. Jazz Band is open to any student who plays saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass, guitar or percussion.

The Carmel High School Color Guard participates in two competitive seasons: Marching Band and Winter Guard. The marching band season starts with auditions in the spring and ends in November. Most of our basic flag, weapon and dance training takes place during this season.
Raffle Tickets are $20 each; three (3) for $50; seven (7) for $100. Only 7,500 tickets will be sold! Two Early Bird Drawing for $500 on August 24 and September 21, 2024. Winning ticket will be drawn on Friday October 11, 2024, at 9:00PM. Winner need not be present to win.
