There doesn't seem to be anywhere that allows me to download it as a pdf document . That’s because Apple doesn’t release user guides as pdf files any more. There is a free version of the iPhone user guide book in the iBooks store. You can transfer that to a PC with the use of a third party app, I believe.
I need a manual/user guide specific to the iPhone XS Max. The one “Books” offers is a generic Iphone user guide. I’m moving from an iPhone 7+ to a xs max and it’s a challenging transition!
Click on View in Apple Books. Click on Allow. Click on Get Started in Apple Books if the page appears. Click Get. If you go to the Tips app on your iPhone if you scroll down you should see iPhone user guide and you can browse the whole thing! I don't find any 'View in Apple Books' option.
