Today we have updated a portion of our Refund Policy regarding pre-purchased titles. This change covers titles that are in pre-purchase and offer “Advanced Access”. Unfortunately, you lost. Steam's refund policies are consistent for all games, early access or not. No more than 14 days, no more than 2 hours playtime, and you get a refund. Otherwise, nuh-uh, nothin' comin'. I will join you in crying in my beer, I've gotten burned on early access titles as well. #7.
Ogami May 23, 2020 @ 3:48am. If you refund a lot of games in a short amount of time ( few months) and only keep few of your purchases you will get this warning. If you continue at that pace your refund rights might be revoked. Just dont refund anything for a few weeks/months and the warning will be gone again.
Matt Sep 6, 2018 @ 6:54pm. The refund policy requires the game to be played less than 2 hours AND purchased less than 2 weeks ago... (not one or the other but both)... Your suggestion is no different than someone saying they should allow refunds for games played 150 hours as long as the purchase was made less than 2 weeks ago. #1.
Steam Refund Policy - ridiculous. having a blanket policy of playing a game for 2hrs disqualifying a user of getting a refund is ridiculous. Some games have tutorials for new users, just to get a basic understanding of game mechanics but not all the facets of said game. Even when it's a newer version of an old game, there are new/unfamiliar ...
