Guthrie Corridor Expressway, GCE, Guthrie Corridor Expressway (Malay: Lebuhraya Koridor Guthrie) is an expressway in Klang Valley, Selangor, Malaysia. It connects Shah Alam to Rawang . GCE is approximately 25 km (16 mi) (23 km (14 mi) long on the Prolintas sections and 2 km (1.2 mi) on the PLUS Expressway sections).
On 13 May 1988, the Highway Concessionaires Berhad changed its name to Projek Lebuhraya Utara Selatan Berhad (PLUS). [4] On 29 January 2002, PLUS Expressways Berhad was incorporated in Malaysia as a public company.
The section 1B, 2 and 3 stretch of SKVE are to be built by SKVE Holdings Sdn Bhd. The section 1B stretch of the expressway between Cyberjaya to Bandar Saujana Putra was completed in June 2010. The section 2 stretch of the expressway from Bandar Saujana Putra towards Teluk Panglima Garang measuring 12.96 km long would have been completed in 2011.
The concession agreement was signed with PLUS in April 2016, and Lebuhraya Pantai Timur 2 Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of PLUS, was reportedly appointed to manage the highway. The Terengganu state government had reportedly requested that toll collection be postponed until after the 2016 Hari Raya celebrations in July 2016. [ 27 ]
