I spent time along Florida's 30A in three towns: Seaside, Rosemary Beach, and Alys Beach. Each beach town was very different, and the one I liked best felt the most "Florida" to me.
St. Andrews State Park is a 1,200-acre (4.9 km 2) Florida State Park located three miles (5 km) east of Panama City Beach Florida, off U.S. 98. It is the headquarters of one of the state's five AmeriCorps Florida State Parks chapters.
The park has such amenities as beaches, picnicking areas, cabins, and full camping facilities. It also has a visitor center. There are miles of sugar-white sand; the park's beach has often been ranked among the best in the United States by Dr. Beach. Sunbathing, snorkeling, and swimming are popular warm-weather activities.
Saint-Malo was rebuilt over a 12-year period from 1948 to 1960. It is a subprefecture of the Ille-et-Vilaine. The commune of Saint-Servan was merged with Paramé, and became the commune of Saint-Malo in 1967. Saint-Malo was the site of an Anglo-French summit in 1998 that led to a significant agreement regarding European defence policy.
