Scott Heather (born September 14, 1975) is an American college baseball coach, currently serving as head coach of the Bucknell Bison baseball program. He was named to that position prior to the 2013 season. [1] [2] [3] Heather began his playing career at Arizona Western, and completed his eligibility at Arkansas.
Walt Criner (c. 1937 – June 15, 2023) was an American football and baseball coach. He served as head football coach at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah from 1983 to 1986 and Arizona Western College in Yuma, Arizona from 1992 to 1995, compiling a career junior college football head coaching record of 37–43.

The longest-tenured head coach is Bob Whalen, who has been the head coach at Dartmouth since the start of the 1990 season.
The Arizona Complex League Athletics are a Minor League Baseball team based in Mesa, Arizona, which plays as a Rookie-level team in the Arizona Complex League and has served as a farm team for the Athletics organization since 1988. [2] They play their home games at Fitch Park, the minor league spring training camp of the Athletics. [3]
The Arizona Western College Matadors field eight intercollegiate teams, four for men and four for women. Men's sports at Arizona Western include baseball, basketball, football, and soccer. The Matador women compete in basketball, soccer, softball, and volleyball.
In 1992, the Colorado Rockies and Chicago Cubs fielded a cooperative team in the Arizona League (AZL), known as the Arizona League Rockies/Cubs. The team was then an affiliate of only the Rockies from 1993 to 2000, and named as such. [2] The teams were located in Mesa (1992–1993), Chandler (1994–1997), and Tucson (1998–2000).
