The Logan Express is an airport bus shuttle which operates between Boston Logan International Airport and Massachusetts suburbs. The service, which is funded by Massport, consists of five routes that run between all of Logan Airport's terminals and the towns of Braintree, Framingham, Danvers, Woburn, and the Boston neighborhood of Back Bay.

All were formerly streetcar routes. Service was converted to bus on the 7, 9, and 10 in 1953; they were some of the last Boston-area streetcar lines to be bustituted, and the #9 was one of the last two lines (the other being the #43, which was bustituted in 1961) to serve the Pleasant Street incline. Streetcars last ran on the #11 in 1929.

The MBTA began adding the key bus routes to its rapid transit map in 2009. [5] [6] This is a 2013 draft by Michael Kvrivishvili, modified into the official map in 2014, that shows the key routes as thinner lines on the rapid transit map. [7] In November 2006, the MBTA launched a concerted effort to improve service quality on key bus routes. [8]
