Bratz is an American fashion doll and media franchise created by former Mattel employee Carter Bryant for MGA Entertainment, which debuted in 2001. [1]The four original 10-inch (25 cm) dolls were released on May 21, 2001 — Yasmin (Latina), Cloe (White), Jade (East Asian), and Sasha (Black).
In 2004, the first Bratz Babyz were made. The babyz were "Cloe", "Sasha", "Jade" and "Yasmin" (the first Bratz.) The dolls came with a changing bag, a nap blanket, bottle on a chain and a pet based on the girl's nickname (e.g. Sasha's nickname is Bunny Boo, so she has a bunny.)
Bratz (also known as Bratz: The Series) is an American animated television series based on the Bratz toy dolls. [1] Produced by Mike Young Productions and MGA Entertainment, it aired on Fox's 4Kids TV from September 10, 2005 to October 14, 2006. In 2008, after a hiatus, it was renewed for season 2.
Once Bratz launched as that, it became "the first ever in decades doll that really presented a competition to Barbie." More importantly, it became the first doll that represented diverse consumers.

The film—adapted on the Kidz 'Sleep-Over Adventure' line—centers around a new character to the Bratz franchise, named Ginger, who invites Jade, Sasha, Meygan, Cloe and Yasmin to her sleepover to make new friends. The spooky stories that the girls tell are the main feature of the film.
