In the 2000 PBS documentary Lost Liners , in giving her account of the disaster, Millvina described the state her mother was in during the aftermath of the disaster:

The Titanic will forever be remembered as the ship that brought tragedy upon over 1,000 people when it crashed into an iceberg and then sunk in the early hours of 15 April 1912.
Edith remembered clearly when the ship struck the iceberg at 11:40 p.m. on 14 April 1912. In a series of interviews in her later years and a biography, A Lifetime on the Titanic, published in 1995, she gave a vivid account of its final moments, although some details have been called into question.
