Ryomen Sukuna (Japanese: 両面 宿儺, Hepburn: Ryōmen Sukuna) is a fictional character and one of the central antagonists of the manga and anime series Jujutsu Kaisen created by Gege Akutami. A Heian Era sorcerer, he was once known notoriously as the King of Curses and well known as the greatest Sorcerer to ever live.
Sukuna confronts Megumi and rips Yuji's heart out so that if they switch back, Yuji will die while Sukuna will still control the body. Sukuna defeats Megumi but is intrigued by his potential. Megumi explains that his will to save others came after seeing his sister fall into a coma from a cursed spirit and that he does not regret saving Yuji.
Yuji ingests the finger and becomes Sukuna's host. Jujutsu master and teacher at the Tokyo school Satoru Gojo tells Yuji that he is intended for execution, but it is delayed so that the world can be rid of Sukuna when Yuji eat all of Sukuna's fingers. Yuji moves into the school and is mentored in Jujutsu personally by Satoru.
To counteract Mahoraga's ability to adapt to any attack, Sukuna activates his Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine, which mercilessly slashes every thing and every person within a 140-meter radius, including Mahoraga. Haruta is caught in the attack and killed. Sukuna secretly brings Megumi to Shoko to be healed before showing his work to Yuji.
Sukuna is the "guest" of the body of Yuji Itadori, who agrees to let himself be killed to avoid further massacres. He has expressed notable interest in Megumi Fushiguro's abilities and plans to regain his power and body. Whenever Sukuna possesses Yuji, characteristic tattoos form on Yuji's body and two extra eyes open on Itadori's cheeks.
