In a comic book-style setting, the Equestria Girls discuss their big-city plans for the day when they witness a jewelry store being robbed. Using their magical geodes, the girls transform into their Crystal Guardian outfits and chase after the thief, superhero style. After a while of chasing, the girls catch the thief and send him to prison.
My Little Pony: Equestria Girls, simply known as Equestria Girls, is a product line of fashion dolls and a media franchise launched in 2013 by the American toy company Hasbro as a spin-off of the 2010 relaunch of the My Little Pony line of pony toys and its Friendship Is Magic television series.
Beginning in 2017, Hasbro released Equestria Girls animated specials in place of feature films. As with the four previous films, the specials promote the year's particular line-up of Equestria Girls dolls. The three 22-minute specials were released in 2017. The following year, 2018, Hasbro began releasing extended specials.
Its first episode was uploaded on August 31, 2018 and its last episode on September 28. On October 1, 2018, the special was made available for streaming on Netflix in the United States alongside Forgotten Friendship. Bundled with Forgotten Friendship, the special was also released on DVD on November 1, 2018 in the United Kingdom. [1]
