Fond du Lac School District is a school district located in Fond du Lac County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It currently enrolls about 7,000 students and operates 10 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, and two high schools: Fond du Lac High School and an alternative high school for at-risk students.
Fond du Lac High School ("Fondy High") is a comprehensive public high school in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin administered by the Fond du Lac School District. Opened in 2001, the school replaced the former Goodrich High School, which was the city's high school from 1922 to 2001. Fond du Lac High School has an enrollment of approximately 2000 students.
Administration of primary and secondary public schools in the state is conducted by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. [2] Education is compulsory from ages seven to seventeen in Missouri, commonly but not exclusively divided into three tiers: elementary school, middle school or junior high school, and high school.
Current Chegwin Principal Nate Groves will transition to a new administrative role this summer within the Fond du Lac School District.
The School District of North Fond du Lac includes Friendship Learning Center (Grades K–5), Bessie Allen Middle School (Grades 6–8), and Horace Mann High School (Grades 9-12). The district includes the Treffert Way for the Exceptional Mind charter school, as well as the Alternative Learning Center for high school students with special needs.
