It is on the same side of the forearm as the little finger, running parallel to the radius, the forearm's other long bone. In human anatomy, the radial (RCL) and ulnar (UCL) collateral ligaments of the metacarpophalangeal joints (MCP) of the hand are the primary stabilisers of the MCP joints.
