eReality is a South African reality television channel created and owned by eMedia Investments's e.tv for OpenView. [1] The channel broadcasts 16 hours a day showcasing a mix of local and international nostalgic reality series and shows which never before appeared on e.tv. [2] eReality is currently the most popular reality channel in South Africa.
On April 1, 2022, eExtra and three other e.tv services were going to be removed from DStv [8] but the channel remained on DStv for another 2 months as the eMedia Investments filed an application to the Competition Tribunal regarding their carriage agreement with MultiChoice.
