Joe Harry Lycett (born 5 July 1988), [2] also known by the self-given moniker Mummy, [3] [4] and formerly as Hugo Boss, is a British comedian, television presenter and painter. Known for his sardonically camp demeanour, public stunts and elaborate set designs, Lycett has been described as one of Britain's most popular comedians.
Late Night Lycett is a comedy variety show hosted by Joe Lycett on Channel 4 and first broadcast on 31 March 2023. The show is filmed in Lycett's home city of Birmingham [2] [3] and includes brief interviews with celebrity guests, with questions being asked from regular guests appearing in the audience, as well as recurring comedy segments. In July 2019, Channel 4 announced that sardonic Richard Ayoade would be leaving the show after the ninth series and would be replaced as host by comedian Joe Lycett. [1] His first episode was broadcast on 27 December 2021.
