The 30th Asian Baseball Championship was an international professional baseball competition for Asian men's national teams. It was held in Taiwan (Taipei, New Taipei, and Taichung). It began on 3 December 2023 and ended on 10 December 2023. Japan won the championship, its 20th title.

The BFA became inactive for eight years following the 1975 Asian Baseball Championship. At the sidelines of the FEMBA World Baseball Championship in Tokyo in 1980, the executives of BFA discussed about resuming the activity of the federation. The Asian Baseball Championship was later resumed in 1983 which was held in Seoul.

The 2025 West Asia Baseball Cup is the 16th edition of the tournament, scheduled to be held in Karaj, Iran from May 1–8, 2025. [1] Karaj was previously awarded the 2021 West Asia Baseball Cup before it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tournament was initially scheduled to be held in October 2024 in Pakistan.
