Paul Daniel "Ace" Frehley (/ ˈ f r eɪ l i /, FRAY-lee; born April 27, 1951) [2] is an American musician who was the original lead guitarist, occasional lead vocalist and founding member of the rock band Kiss.
Formed in January 1973, the group originally featured rhythm guitarist Paul Stanley, bassist Gene Simmons, lead guitarist Ace Frehley and drummer Peter Criss, all of whom contributed to vocals. [1] The band's lineup remained stable for seven years, before Criss left on May 18, 1980, after an injury and increasing personal tensions. [ 2 ]
Wyse played bass guitar on Ace Frehley's album, Space Invader. [24] He toured with Frehley following the release of the album and played on his next release, Origins Vol 1, which featured Paul Stanley on vocals for the track "Fire and Water". [25] Wyse left The Cult in 2015, and has continued to tour and record with Frehley.
