Ming Pao (Chinese: 明報) is a Chinese-language newspaper published by Media Chinese International in Hong Kong. In the 1990s, Ming Pao established four overseas branches in North America; each provides independent reporting on local news and collects local advertisements.
The newspaper was established simultaneously in New York and San Francisco on February 12, 1976. The headquarter is located in Whitestone, New York City, where it has since remained. [4] The World Journal is one of three major Chinese-language dailies among the Chinese American community.
