The Dreaming was scheduled to tour the west coast along with Die So Fluid between March 4, 2015, and March 14, 2015. [citation needed] According to the band's Facebook page, The Dreaming would continue to tour during a four-week nationwide stint throughout the month of June in 2015. Taking its title from a line in "The Dreaming Tree", the album marked a shift in the band's sound, having darker themes and textures and more complex arrangements. Certain songs see the band apply polyrhythms and Middle-Eastern scales. [2] Numerous guests are featured on the album, including Béla Fleck, Alanis Morissette and the Kronos Quartet.
