Andrew Piran Bell (born 11 August 1970) [1] is a Welsh musician. He is one of two vocalists and guitarists of the rock band Ride, and was formerly the bassist of Oasis from 1999 until their breakup in 2009. Bell was also a member of Hurricane #1 as well as Liam Gallagher's post-Oasis project Beady Eye until their breakup in 2014.
Andy Bell and Mark Gardener had been to Cheney School in Oxford, appearing in the school's musical theatre productions, and in October 1988, they moved to Banbury to do Foundation Studies in Art & Design at North Oxfordshire College and the Oxfordshire School of Art & Design. [6] There they met Laurence Colbert and Steve Queralt.
Hurricane #1 are an English rock band, formed in Oxford in 1996. The band were formed by former Ride guitarist Andy Bell, along with vocalist / guitarist Alex Lowe, bassist Will Pepper and drummer Gareth "Gaz" Farmer. After releasing two albums, Hurricane #1 (1997) and Only the Strongest Will Survive (1999), the band broke up.

Gardener formed Ride with Andy Bell (guitarist), whom he met at Cheney School in Oxford, and Laurence Colbert (drummer) and Steve Queralt (bass guitarist), whom he met doing Foundation Studies in Art and Design at Banbury in 1988. While still at Banbury the band produced a tape demo including the tracks "Chelsea Girl" and "Drive Blind".

Bell joined Kendal Town on a month's loan in November, which was extended to March 2010. [15] Bell then moved to Guiseley AFC where he remained from March 2010 until July 2010. [16] He signed for AFC Fylde in Northern Premier League Division One North in July 2010. He played one season for the Coasters and signed for Kendal Town in July 2011.
