The school was started under the name Jubilee Integrated Secondary School in 1965, with 984 pupils in two streams, English and Malay. [2] It was officially opened as Yusof Ishak Secondary School at Jubilee Road on 29 July 1966, named after the first President of Singapore, Yusof Ishak. [3]
It is known as Holy Innocents’ Primary School today after it amalgamated with the primary section of Holy Innocents’ High School in 1985. [11] Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (CHIJ) Punggol was established in 1957 and was renamed CHIJ Our Lady of the Nativity in 2001.
