In addition to TICA, the Nebelung is recognized by the American Cat Fanciers Association (), [4] the World Cat Federation (), [5] Livre Officiel des Origines Félines (), [6] Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (), [7] and independent cat associations in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.
