UT Arlington's Science & Engineering library is located in the basement of the building and provides extensive resources to the students. This library, like the other four libraries on the UTA campus, is open to the public for research and extends borrowing and other privileges to many non-UTA-affiliated individuals through the TexShare program.

The library includes over 970,000 books, 19,000 maps, 93,500 photographs, 4,000 linear feet of manuscripts, 11,500 broadsides, and 50,000 items in other multimedia formats. Most of the sources are about Texas and Mexico, but also include items are also from the other Latin American countries, particularly: Central America, Chile, Peru, and Brazil.
It is a fully functional student-run publication. The newspaper has won many awards for excellence in college journalism including the Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold Crown award, the Texas Associated Press Managing Editors award, and the Texas Intercollegiate Press Sweepstakes award. Student government became more prominent and effective during the ASC era. In the 1950s, ASC had a 20-member Student Council whose members were all appointed by the college president. In 1962, the Student Council was enlarged to 30 members, 16 of whom were elected by ASC students and the remaining 14 of whom were appointed by the president. [131]
