The unincorporated village of Grand Blanc, or Grumlaw, was a former Indian campground first settled by Jacob Stevens in spring 1822. Several years later, settlers improved the Indian trail to Saginaw; they laid out and staked it in 1829 as Saginaw Road. Grand Blanc Township is a charter township of Genesee County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 39,846 at the 2020 census, a slight increase from 37,508 at the 2010 census. The city of Grand Blanc was formed out of part of the township's survey area. The Charter Township is the largest suburb of Flint.

The First Baptist Church of Grand Blanc was organized in 1833, and held services in the homes or barns of members. Chauncey Gibson a site for the construction of a permanent church, and the church building was completed in 1851. [3] The church recruited its first pastor, Elder Edgar Randall, in 1879. Randall served as pastor until 1911. [4]

He is a Member of the Michigan House of Representatives from the 93rd district [1] and was a member of the Michigan House of Representatives from the 94th district, first elected in 2012. His district consists of part of Saginaw County. [2]
