Gudauri (Georgian: გუდაური) is a ski resort located on the south-facing plateau of The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia.The resort is situated in the Kazbegi Municipality, along the Georgian Military Highway near the Jvari Pass, at an elevation of 2,200 meters (7,200 ft.) above sea level.
Gudauri is 75 miles north of Tbilisi, in the Caucasus mountains and is Georgia’s largest and highest ski resort of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, approximately 2,200m (7,200ft) above sea level.
Gudauri is situated in the Greater Caucasus Mountains and dates back to 1987. It boasts "big mountains, one of the highest, pristine ski areas, and the cheapest ski pass in Europe," per its website .
