SaGa Frontier [a] is a 1997 role-playing video game developed by Square for the PlayStation. [2] It is the seventh game in the SaGa series, and the first to be released on the PlayStation. Gokujō Parodius ~Kako no Eikō o Motomete~, [a] translated as Gokujo Parodius – Pursuing the Past Glory and also known as Fantastic Journey, is a 1994 side-scrolling shooter arcade game developed and published by Konami. It is the third entry in their Parodius series, itself a parody spin-off of their Gradius series.

The focus of the game is one-on-one fights versus giant enemies. Several of said enemies are references to or bosses in other Konami games, such as Gradius and its spin-off, Salamander. When playing two-player mode, both players can team up to do secret special moves.
The arcade version of the game was released under its original title in Japan and Europe, and as Life Force in North America. The Japanese and European versions are nearly identical, but the American version changes the game's plot by adding an opening text that establishes the game to be set inside a giant alien life-form which is infected by a strain of bacteria.
There are six games in the Parodius series. The last of them, Paro Wars, is a spin-off strategy game. [2]The only games released outside Japan are From Myth to Laughter and Fantastic Journey, which received European localizations.
