The main story arc, called "Fishman Island" (魚人島, Gyojin-tō), adapts material from the 61st to the end of the 66th volumes of the manga by Eiichiro Oda. Two years have passed since the war at Marineford, and Luffy and the Straw Hats reunite at Sabaody after completing their training sessions. From there, they head off to Fishman Island.
Luffy attempt to fight back using Armament Haki, but his punches go right though him, much to Luffy's confusion, as Trebol question Luffy's assumption of his Devil Fruit being a Logia. Edison conducts experiments on S-Shark to help it evolve. Shaka halts the fight, and he reveals Egghead's history. Meanwhile, Luffy's group finds an old, advanced robot in a scrapyard.
