The eleventh season of the One Piece anime series was produced by Toei Animation, and directed by Hiroaki Miyamoto based on Eiichiro Oda's manga by the same name. The majority of the season covers the "Sabaody Archipelago" story arc, which deals with the Straw Hats preparing to enter Fishman Island by having their ship coated for undersea travel. [1]

Luffy attempt to fight back using Armament Haki, but his punches go right though him, much to Luffy's confusion, as Trebol question Luffy's assumption of his Devil Fruit being a Logia. Law tells Luffy that fighting Trebol is futile, while revealing Trebol's slime is in fact mucus, before he begins to insult Trebol and the other executives.
The main story arc, called "Fishman Island" (魚人島, Gyojin-tō), adapts material from the 61st to the end of the 66th volumes of the manga by Eiichiro Oda. Two years have passed since the war at Marineford, and Luffy and the Straw Hats reunite at Sabaody after completing their training sessions. From there, they head off to Fishman Island.

Luffy finally arrives at Marineford along with Rayleigh and Jimbei. Luffy uses the Gum-Gum Whip technique on the Marines, allowing him to reach the Ox Bell – ringing it 16 times to signify the end of the war. Luffy follows the reporters and throws a bouquet of flowers. The reporters take Luffy's pictures, along with his tattoo.
Sanji, Robin, and Usopp's attacks fail against it. Lilith, along with two other satellites of Vegapunk, Edison, and Pythagoras control S-Shark from afar. Edison conducts experiments on S-Shark to help it evolve. Shaka halts the fight, and he reveals Egghead's history. Meanwhile, Luffy's group finds an old, advanced robot in a scrapyard.
