The current building is located at 740 Center St. Burlington, WI. In October 2021, Pastor Stephen Jackson became the campus pastor. Journey Church // Beach Park began May 1, 2017 and Pastor Jay English is the Beach Park Campus Pastor. The church is located at 12735 W Graves Ave., Beach Park, IL.
The school was founded in 1977 [2] by Journey Church, and they currently have over 650 alumni. Mrs. Wright is the principal of the Upper School, and Christie Gould is the principal of the Elementary School. The Administrator is Dr. Jeff Bogaczyk. [3] The Upper School has a student/teacher ratio of 11 to 1, with an average class size of 15.
Over the years the church has met in comedy clubs, church basements, off-Broadway theaters, public schools, hotel ballrooms and even in larger concert venues. As of July, 2012, The Journey meets in two locations in the Metro New York area. Most recently, The Journey launched a new campus in Boca Raton, Florida, on February 13, 2011.
