The Andover Center Historic District encompasses the historic town center of Andover, Connecticut.Centered on the junction of Hebron Road with Center Street and Cider Mill Road, the district includes houses dating to the town's early history, civic buildings including a library and former town hall, and the town's first cemetery.

At the Columbia town center, it intersects with Route 66. North of the town center, Route 87 skirts the north shore of Columbia Lake before crossing into the town of Andover. By the late 18th century, Central Street was already an important thoroughfare, connecting Boston and Salem to Haverhill and the traditional center of Andover, now North Andover. The South Church, the first church of present-day Andover, was built along the road in 1709. The current building is a Romanesque Revival structure, built in 1861.
