The Museum of the Apopkans started in 1968 but it was incorporated in 1971 to be a not-for-profit institution. The initial board of directors included President Mrs. Elizabeth Grossenbacher, Vice-President Mrs. Mildred S. Whiteside, Secretary Mrs. Reba R. Evans, Curator Mr. Edward A. Miner, and directors Mayor John H. Land, Miss Elin Larson, and Miss Mary Lee Welch.
The Carroll Building (also formerly the site of the Apopka Historical Society Museum) is a historic building in Apopka, Florida. It is located at 407-409 South Park Avenue. On March 4, 1993, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It currently serves as the site of Aunt Gingibread's Bakery.

The Museum of the Palestinian People (MPP) is a museum featuring the history, art, and culture of Palestinians. It is located in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The museum was founded in 2019. [1] It is the second Palestinian-themed museum in the United States (after Palestine Museum US) and the first in Washington, D.C. [2]

The Museum of Appalachia, located in Norris, Tennessee, 20 miles (32 km) north of Knoxville, is a living history museum that interprets the pioneer and early 20th-century period of the Southern Appalachian region of the United States.
The museum's permanent and special exhibits display some of the 3 million mostly Ancestral Puebloan artifacts curated at the facility. The center also houses a public research library, educational resources and a museum shop. Wheelchair-accessible facilities include a picnic area and an interpreted nature and cultural trail. [1]
