Charles Fox Parham (June 4, 1873 – January 29, 1929) was an American preacher and evangelist.Together with William J. Seymour, Parham was one of the two central figures in the development and initial spread of early Pentecostalism, known as Holiness Pentecostalism.
He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law at Iowa City, Iowa in 1886. He was admitted to the bar that year, and commenced practice in Holdrege, Nebraska. He moved to Seymour, Iowa in 1887, and to Corydon, Iowa in 1889 and continued the practice of law. He served as prosecuting attorney for Wayne County, Iowa from 1891 to 1895.

James A. Seymour (born April 8, 1939) is the Iowa State Senator from the 28th District. A Republican, he has served in the Iowa Senate since 2003.. Seymour currently serves on several committees in the Iowa Senate - the Appropriations committee; and the Human Resources committee, the State Government committee; and the Veterans Affairs committee, where he is the ranking member.
