Hamilton County Schools (or Hamilton County Department of Education) is the school district that serves Hamilton County, Tennessee, USA.After a 1995 referendum, the then-separate Chattanooga City Schools district was merged into the county district in 1997. [2]
The headquarters is in the Comtech Technology Park in Lumberton, along Interstate 95. It previously had a different office, but Hurricane Matthew damaged the facilities in 2016. The University of North Carolina Pembroke temporarily hosted the finance department of the school district.

Littlefield High School opened in 1955 as a four-year high school with 273 students from Allenton School, Barker Ten Mile School, and Smith's School. It was named for B. E. Littlefield, then Superintendent of Robeson County Schools, and located on 17.7 acres on North Carolina Highway 41 east of Lumberton. [ 1 ]
Boyd-Buchanan School is a co-educational private Christian school located near the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Founded in 1952, the school is a college-preparatory school for children in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. Currently, the school has more than 1,000 students enrolled.
