The bank account you attach and verify on Etsy must be in the exact same name you opened the Etsy account with. If your Etsy account is in, say, Tracey Smith, you cannot use a bank account in the name Tracey Ann Smith, or Tracey and David Smith. Banking fraud and money laundering laws require exact verification.

Money keeps going missing without any trace from my finances. For example, sold a large order for £120 a few days ago. I received £55. Where did the rest of the money go to? I have no idea. I have just checked my Payment Account Page in 2 Shops. I have monthly Deposits in one so I see Scheduled for 05 Dec and, right next to this, is the "Request it now" Button. But in the other which has Weekly Deposits, I have no "Request it now" button because the funds have already been requested for Monday. View solution in original post.
