[Costco Auto Program] I just purchased an Outback using the Costco Auto program, and thought I'd share my experience in case anyone out there is curious how it works now post-pandemic (as I was before I purchased). BACKGROUND: I've used Costco Auto twice before, and am generally happy with the experience.
Costco is picky about what dealers it allows to represent it. The CostCo buying program is a mixed bag. A lot of the deals going through there are going to be little or no profit. Seems like some dealers go into it saying "Fuck it, it will help us get units and we can't expect to make money off of those deals".

It's hard to see what the starting point for savings would be on the car we're looking for without being a member, but I have heard that it can be pretty significant.
