Lincoln County is a county located in the U.S. state of Montana. As of the 2020 census, the population was 19,677. [2] Its county seat is Libby. [3] The county was founded in 1909 and named for President Abraham Lincoln. The county lies on Montana's north border and thus shares the US-Canadian border with the Canadian province of British Columbia.
Topographic relief is significant as the summit rises over 3,500 feet (1,100 m) above Libby Creek in 1.4 mile (2.25 km) and 3,200 feet (980 m) above Saint Paul Lake in 1.25 mile (2 km). The mountain's toponym was officially adopted in 1923 by the U.S. Board on Geographic Names and the name refers to the appearance of the mountain.

I-459, which joins major east–west interstates I-20 and I-59, is located 9 miles to the north; north-south oriented I-65 is 3 miles east of Old Town Helena. AL-261 runs through the heart of Helena and connects the city to neighboring Pelham, where it intersects US-31, located 2 miles east of Old Town.

Hamilton, the largest town and the county seat of Ravalli County, is located at 46°14.8'N and 114°09.6'W at an elevation of 3,570 feet (1,090 m) with a population of 12,000.
KLCB’s studios were co-located with KTNY’s, at 251 West Cedar St. in Libby. Its transmitter site was the same as KTNY’s, south of town on Spencer Road. In addition to its usual music programming, KLCB carried national and local news, a swap and shop program, plus Libby Loggers football and men's and women's basketball games.
