  2. Yes -- What I mean is that I can input the same character "hyphen-minus" (-) in the source; when it is in text mode it will paste as the "hyphen-minus", but when it is in math mode it will paste as the "minus sign". That means that LaTeX has a mechanism by which it treats the same input character in a way that leads to two different, context ...

  3. Copy paste / (slash) - Glyphs Forum

    forum.glyphsapp.com/t/copy-paste-slash/11721

the slash is a bit special as it denotes glyph names. If you copy text form the edit view that contains glyphs without unicode, it puts the glyph name in the string instead. You can see that in the title of the tabs, too. So if you copy text with a slash it adds another slash to make sure that it is a slash and not a glyph name. Daan (Daan) May ...

    tex.stackexchange.com/questions/230148/slashed-zero-the-right-way

You're right, copying and pasting from another app isn't the most efficient way to insert a forward slash in MS Teams chat. Here are two better options: Use the Keyboard Shortcut: Hold down the Shift key and press the key combination for a forward slash, which typically is Shift + /. Use the Command Box: Click on the compose box where you type ...
