Yes because that season is really good the last episode was cool as hell. 1. Reply. [deleted] • 4 yr. ago. Yep. My only complaint is change in character and art style. They should've just went with the story that was set by the previous seasons and not have tried to go back to the LN.
I’m nearing the end of season 4 of high school dxd the anime and I want to read on after I finish the anime except I’m clueless on where exactly the anime ends and the manga starts- can anyone help? Manga ended long before season 4 storyline and was discontinued. Anime ended at volume 10 of light novel. Start reading volume 11.
Season 4 of High school DxD was originally licensed by both Crunchyroll and Funimation. This was due to their original collaboration a couple years ago, where Crunchyroll would handle the subtitle and Funimation handled the dub for a couple other shows. As Funimation also handled the physical release, they were able to update their source to uncut.
Dynamic_Kid. Unpopular Opinion about Season 4. Discussion. The same criticisms I hear about High School DxD Hero is character design, colors are too bright, or the lighthearted tone shift from the previous three seasons. However, the upside to this season is enjoyment factor and consistency. Here are my reasons:
Ryuuji_Gremory. • 4 yr. ago. Because Season 3 completely fucked up the story to the extent that they basically killed the anime by making any seamless continuation impossible. Also in terms of animation it wasn't especially good, the animation of S4 is objectively better. 7.
that's dumb, he cannot fire a studio, he is not the one contracting them. they just moved studios like Mappa got AOT from Studio Wit. and changed it to their art style preference. Same with HS DXD, new studio, new art direction, which imo is horrible, every girl looks like 14 yo which is just terrible, and it's not just the age, it's everyone looks the same, and the vibe was so good with the ...

I personal would prefer to start from the beginning for the whole experience. however if you do not wish do to that, than you should start with volume 5 this is where S3 beginns with cutting stuff off left and right. If you really want to start where the anime has ended, then its Vol 11. though almost everyone here will highly ...

I saw a post where volumes 1,2,3,9, and 10 are covered perfectly and should be skipped. To be honest i dont know where to start on the light novles. Should i start from volume 1, volume 4, or volume 5? Please help.
The new studio made a special episode that is an alternative version of the final four episodes of High School DxD BorN. Studio that worked on Seasons 1-3 only loosely adapted the novels the show was based on. By the time season 3 was done, it might as well have been anime only and the author was pissed.
Copy pasta courtesy of u/Venom_is_an_ace. The director of season 3 basically gave a huge middle finger to the author with season 3 to the point that the Author wrote a light novel volume (EX) to retcon all of season 3 and put it in an alternate universe. here is some of the cut content that BorN skipped. Spoilers a head.
