IIMB Alumni Association (IIMBAA) is the official association for all the alumni of IIM Bangalore. As of 2024, IIMBAA had ~15 chapters in India and around the world. An annual gathering event called Anusmaran (in Sanskrit, meaning 'reminiscence') is organised by all chapters for the alumni to meet their fellows, and relive their old memories. [135]
The Common Admission Test (CAT) [2] is a computer based test for admission in graduate management programs. The test consists of three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning ,and Quantitative Ability.
