The Tallboy feels like my Megatower but with just a bit less squish, the Blur 4 is a true XC bike. For doing a few races and in general, I wanted something that stood out more against my Megatower.
2020 Hightower 2 vs 2020 Tallboy 4. I've seen the numbers and read reports from those who have ridden each. Both seem very good and have a place. However there also seems to be overlap and each is better for some things. Some people, and some trails. I have not seen a direct on the trail ride comparison of these two.

The current tallboy is a good enough bike, but it rides pretty much like a hightower with a smidge less travel. Really, there is no penalty for going with a hightower so the tallboy seems redundant to me.
Tallboy 4 vs 5010 4. Hoping i could get some opinions and thoughts on these two bikes i am considering pulling the trigger on. The geometry and specs on these two bikes is almost identical. The 5010 is actually a little more slacked with more suspension but is 27.5. Where as the TB4 is actually lighter and a 29er.
