Taboo is a word, guessing, and party game published by Parker Brothers in 1989 (subsequently purchased by Hasbro). [1] The objective of the game is for a player to have their partners guess the word on the player's card without using the word itself or five additional words listed on the card.
The method and rules of clue-giving change each round, depending on the space the pawn landed on. On some spaces, clues are given using the rules of the classic Taboo game. On other spaces, clues must be drawn, limited to 15 words, or acted out using "Bendy Bob", a purple plush character included with the game.
