[1] As part of its duties as participating broadcaster, ERR organises the selection of its entry in the Eurovision Song Contest and broadcasts the event in the country. Since its debut, the Estonian broadcaster had organised national finals that featured a competition among multiple artists and songs in order to select its entry for the contest.
EMA 2025 is set to be the twenty-fifth edition of EMA, the format used by RTVSLO to select its entry for the Eurovision Song Contest.The competition will take place on 1 February 2025 at the RTVSLO Studio 1 in Ljubljana, hosted by Gregor Strasbergar [] and Raiven, the latter of whom represented Slovenia in 2024.
The competition will consist of four shows: two heats on 14 February 2025 and 15 February 2025, a semi-final on 22 February 2025 and a final on 1 March 2025. In each of the two heats, 12 of the 24 competing acts will compete. A maximum of 14 acts will be selected to proceed to the semi-final where nine acts will be selected to proceed to the final.
